Holy CRAP!!
Midnight is when all darkness lurk. There is never an exception. Under the shine of the silver moon, creatures of the dark loom around places, seek for their preys and victims. They seek them, hunt them, capture them, eat them, devour them. They create a symphony of black and red in the middle of the night, dancing to the orchestra of the moon-lit sky.

And so does Trouble.

Kou has never been out in the broad daylight ever since he moved and found himself a secret hide out to live in. Living a life of a vampire, he has not seen the sun for at least a whole month, ever since he escaped from the gang. The hunt of his predators continues, even though they fail in every single attempt ever since then.

Even still, any time when he is seen in broad daylight means he is in trouble. He knew that trouble follows him all the time. Just like this night.

He decided to go out for dinner for once, just to get something from the convenience store and bring it home to eat. Everything was alright, until he came out from the convenience store. Ever since, he has been feeling that someone was following him. No, not only one person. Several.

In fact, these people are no normal thugs. Their feet are swift, their breathes are light. If it was not for Kou's extra sensitive sense, he would not have noticed them at all. Like ghosts, they lurk around him, even though he has made quite a few difficult and abrupt turns and twists on the road already.

He'd need to battle it out.

Kou hissed at that thought. It was not a pleasant one at all. He could tell very well that these people are strong. Most definitely stronger than the patch before. He didn't like to think of this idea, but they might as well be professional assassins. Even though he didn't think that the gang would have enough money and manpower to ask for such a big group of assassin to just kill him and only him.

Three, no, four. There is a total of four of them. Two from behind, and two constantly on the side, either one street to the left or one street to the right. One of them must be a power-based fighter, from the group from behind, simply because his steps are heavy. The people from the sides are women, probably swift walkers and excel in light weight battles. Though the last one was someone that he can't tell the strength of. Among all of them, that person has the lightest weight, most subtle breathes, and therefore the most dangerous.

The boy took for a ran. He ran so fast, and continued running, until he reached an open space in the area, namely the golden fountain.

It was then that he abruptly stopped. He could hear the footsteps behind him, especially the heaviest one. He could even estimate how far is the guy from him. 6 feet. 5 feet. 4 feet.

As soon as the man got into the range of 4 feet, the boy flung around, and a throwing knife escaped from his hand, going directly for the heavy footsteps.

His face is now turned around, facing the 2 people that has been paired up and following him from behind for the entire time: One man had the knife that he threw out on his throat, and slowly collapsing onto the floor. A facial expression of shock and frustration was on his face, as his giant body starts to fall backwards and lay on his own pool of blood.

Another, not so much. The woman was not even flinching when that happened. There is a shield of thick ice already forming in front of her, much thicker than how much his knife could have penetrated, no matter how strong the force. A smile creeps up on her elegant face, as she stares at the boy with her cold, amethyst eyes. Her long, silver hair blowing along the wind, she is taking a very defensive stance.

Kou could hear the footsteps moving around him. One still very hardly noticeable hiding around, when another one coming forth from the side. A tall male with short, pointy hair, and glasses. A sadistic smirk is on his face, and a dancing bit of flame is dancing on his index finger, which is pointing to the sky.

1 down. 3 to go.

Kou tenses up his body, as he put on a defensive boxing stance, and metals ready in his sleeves to kill. Damn, he is actually glad that he took those knifes from that bitch.

Ah, nice, his comrades had brought him here. The electromancer smiled, as he got his own knife. It briefly had an arc dance around the blade, before he stepped from behind the fountain.

"Ah...Kou. How good it is to see you." The figure said. He looked at the dying man, and shrugged. "You don't get much good help nowadays."

He was dressed in a rather trim business suit, gloved hands holding a rather large blade. A current running through it. He may not be as powerful as the two women, or as strong as the guy Kou just killed, but he was their leader for a reason.

"So...what are we gonna do now?" He said, as he walked towards his old 'friend.' He though, would keep a good distance away.

Kou didn't realize the presence of this last person till now. Yet, the voice of this person, and the familiar stepping sound of the pereson. It was by far the strangest thing that he has encountered: this one person that he has never thought to have to fight.

His defense stance loosened up for that split second from the surprise, as his eyes came into focus to try and see if what he thought was coming was indeed coming. Yet, that was more than enough of a time for someone to launch an attack.

And the woman did not let this chance pass.

The thick wall shatters into bits and pieces, as the woman dashes forth, with a fist withdrawn, and a coat of thin ice coating around it.

Kou notices that he was caught off guard immediately when he sensed the movement. "Shit." He cursed, as he tries to predict the movement of the woman and move away from her path.

Yet, it was not the best move he can do, since his back is now exposed to the pyromancer. He knew it, too. Yet, it is not an alley that he is in. He can't fight in an alley this time, even if he wishes to, since he knew he would be fighting in fights one after another when he is fighting in the alley, and it's easier for him to take them all down once and for all.

He is going to soon regret it, though. And he knew it.

No, he is already regretting it.

The woman has a smirk on her face, as she saw where he was moving. It was exactly the place where she predicted him to move, and she has already prepared a little surprise for him.

A thick layer of ice quickly spawn from the bottom of the boy's fist, and glues him to place. Even just for a slight minute, the pyromancer can get him, and get him hard on this one.

"People, people, please, stop this mindless violence." The man said, his hands up and mockingly taunting Kou. At this point, the aquamancer held him down more, drawing water from he fountain and forming a sort of pillar to the ground and to his hands, freezing them to place.

"O, look 'hoowhe hav 'ere." The Pyromancer said, clenching his fist and surrounding it with fire. He menacingly stepped forward to the boy, before the aquamancer stopped him.

"You know I hate it when you talk like that. You aren't Irish." She said in hushed tones. The pyromancer was going to say more when the electromancer opened his mouth.

"Alright...you can probably have a go with him if you want..just don't...well...rough him up...leave him alive though. He needs to pay us back."

A snicker escapes from the pyromancer's lips, as he eyes the boy up and down. "O s're I'll." He said, before his eyes aimed at all the boy's vital points in the body, and brought forth his fist to the boy, who is unable to do anything at all to even defend himself right now.

Mere curses would not even explain how pissed Kou is at the condition of how screwed he is at this state. He was NOT expecting the aquamancer's move, and he was taken off guard immediately from the constraints. While he struggled for his feet to be free, his hands besides him were caught onto the ground as well, making his limps completely immobilized. To make things worse, he has never really fought elementalists before, and that puts him in a huge disadvantage.

His head is quickly turning, as he tries frantically to break out from his bonds. Frantically doesn't even start to describe his movements, but his mind was not thrown into a chaos at all. It is a show for the satisfaction of the opponent on site. The more panicked he seems, the more of a chance he is going to break away from this bond.

And the chance came.

The fire caressed fist drilled into the boy's stomach in an upward motion. Kou's entire body raised in a slightly upward motion along with the momentum strong hit from the fist. However, since he was so tightly held onto the ground by the ice, there wasn't really much room for him to move, except for moving slightly up.

While there really wasn't any room for him to move, there was already enough force for him to pull his feet out from his frozen shoes and free his legs. If there was anything that the aquamancer miscalculated, it was the fact that Kou wears boots all the time, and those working boots are extremely easy for him to slip and and out of.

Kou's motion didn't cease right after he got out of the bond, however. He pursued further, and stepped onto the two pillars holding onto him as fast and with as much force as possible. There was so short of a distance and so strong of a force, that a crack in the ice is visible almost immediately, and as Kou pushes backwards in his feet to break away and go as far back as possible with his jump, the ice pillars actually broke, leaving Kou with a pair of frozen cuffs on his wrists.

"Heh, a very nice way of saying long time no see, eh?" Kou mocked, as he took his defense stance again, and eyed the pyromancer and the aquamancer from one to another.

The aquamancer's eyes furrowed, and focused on the boy's feet again. However, Kou was faster this time. Immediately when he notices that she was staring, he jumped back from his spot, and a thin layer of ice was seen right where he was standing seconds before.

"Oye lady. Same trick don't work twice." The boy said, with an innocent smile on his face, as he dodged an attack from the pyromancer by stepping to the side.

"And you," He turns to the pyromancer, who is starting to attack him with flame engulfed fist, and said. "You needa learn some manners."

Kou did not take any moves by defending at all. Instead, he was side stepping the entire time. He was not side stepping backwards all the time, either. He notices that the pyromancer has a flaw in his attacks: there is always one blind spot in his every single attack that Kou can step onto without getting any harm, AND be able to make the pyromancer completely open and defenseless against him. He is simply stepping into these places right now, and making the pyromancer defend himself with more attacks. While it is a long process of stalling, Kou did get an upper hand on the game. His years of fighting thugs does help.

On the side, however, the two people are not sitting there doing nothing. The aquamancer has formed a sort of arrow aiming at the boy, as she observes him fighting, or escaping, from the pyromancer's moves. It is clearly visible to the aquamancer as to what the boy was doing. In fact, she could almost tell where the boy can step next, now. Next time she hits, it's going to make him completely immobilized.

On the other hand, the electromancer did not stood around doing nothing, either. While at the same time he knew that Kou was extremely dangerous if fought in close range, he also knew that Kou has the same strength that he has, and he was the person who taught his peer this talent.

Now the electromancer is simply waiting, waiting for an opening of the boy, and his long knife will go directly through his arm, and impale one of his arm as deep as possible, probably ruining it for life even if they happen to never kill him tonight.

Kou was, of course, aware of what's going on on the sideline. He needs to take down this person fast and swift, and get rid of him immediately. He knew that if there is any more close range fighter that rivals him, this will be the only person.

THERE! A knife appeared in the boy's hand, as he ducked down, and held his short swiss blade tightly in his hands. He thrusts forth with the blade toward the pyromancer's stomach, the same exact spot that the pyromancer has attacked him at.

Yet, he has forgotten one thing on site: there is yet another person that has not revealed himself... yet.

The pyromancer fell with a grunt. He was injured. Cursing wildly, he shot a jet of flame at Kou's way before he started to move, he knew what was coming. The Aquamancer looked pissed, and the appearance of the aeromancer from behind Kou complicated things. Both women sent arrows at Kou, the Aquamancer thin icicles, while the aeromancer, staying to Kou's side to avoid friendly fire, sent a gust of strong wind that had tore up cobblestones from the ground.

The electromancer just stood there. Why do work when you have lackeys?

Kou's eyes widened immediately when he was not able to kill off the pyromancer. It was quite a long while before he had a person that he was certain that he could kill ended up not being killed when he struck at the target. More surprisingly, it was a blow of wind that knocked his blade out of his hand. A blow of WIND of all things.

Yet, the enemies did not let the boy think, at all, before they struck again. The pyromancer blasted a stream of flame onto his face, and the aquamancer shot several icicles at him as well. While he could wait for them to dissolve each other, he noticed that there seem to be a teamwork going on between the aquamancer and the pyromancer, in that they are somewhat synchronized to each other, and the attack are probably going to be following one after another, instead of clashing together.

He needed to take the "avoid" action.

Kou dashed backwards, hoping to dodge the attacks in time, only to met a third surprise attack from behind: The ghost that has been lurking around.

Cobblestones from the ground dug into the flesh of Kou's back, and hit on him as if they were all strong, metal bullets. Kou was not expecting it at all. The boy fell forward, and met the blast of flame that was sent towards him.

The flame hit the center of his chest, and burned most of his clothes at that area away, showing his burnt bare chest, before icicles made contact with his skin, and pierced him everywhere: the shoulders, the collarbone, the chest, his arms, any part of his upper body in fact.

Kou bit deep into his lips to the point were blood was leaking out of them, as he felt all these pain impacting on his body at once, his eyes looking at the bystander painfully with an immense amount of hatred. Yet, it was not quite the time that he could do that, as another wave of attack has been unleashed already.

The aquamancer did not let go of this chance to unleash her attack. A blade of ice formed in mid air and dashes forth towards Kou as soon as he was not paying attention, and impaled through the flesh of the boy at his right shoulder. The aeromancer, apparently decided to help, blew a gust of wind behind Kou to force him to meet the blade in an even shorter time frame.

The boy let out a roar of pain, as he got a hold of his tripping and falling body, and his left hand on his right shoulder, attempting to pull out the deeply implanted ice. It was much more painful than any blade wound he has ever taken before, merely because of the nature of the frozen ice itself.

The pyromancer didn't let him do that, though. He dashed forward, and grabbed the boy by his collar. He punched the boy in the guts, and released him onto the floor. Immediately after Kou was dropped onto the floor, the pyromancer stepped onto the icicle, digging it even further into the boy's injury.

"'ho need'a learn manner now, huh?" The pyromancer sadistically said, as he twists his left foot on top of the icicle on the boy's shoulder, inflicting more pain onto the boy.

The boy winces at the pain, as his feet struggles hard to get himself up on the ground but to no vail. Desperately, the boy swung out his metallic ruler, and stabbed into the pyromancer's left foot.

The pyromancer immediately responded to the pain, and withdrew his left leg from the boy, while cursing in pain. The boy immediately took this chance, and moved away from the pyromancer, and got back onto his feet again.

He yanked out the icicle, and threw it onto the floor. The blood would not stop pouring out from his deep wound, as he put his left hand over the wound. His back hurts like hell right now, and he almost couldn't feel his shoulder anymore. Somehow, his sights are also getting a little unfocused. Yet, this is not going to be the end of this. He has been through worse.

He is more than likely not going to be able to use his right shoulder now. That left him no choice.

The boy uncovered his wound, and took out another knife from his jacket. He sidestepped to withdraw his right to the back, and looked at all of the people he is facing right now. The aeromancer who never showed her face also appeared. With an appearance like that, Kou could not imagine that she actually is an assassin of sort. Yet, for some reason the females are proven to be more painful to deal with than the males. Probably because they are more calculating.

Now he is at the middle of a triangle. To his left is the injured Pyormancer. To his right is the aquamancer, who has orbs floating around her, ready to launch them at all time. To the back is the aeromancer that he just saw, still as quiet and stealth as usual. The side line still stood his former comrade.

All of these people, excluding his comrade, could kill him in one instant. Yet, they were toying with him. They were trying to wear him out, trying to disarm him, trying to render his fighting ability to zero. That's the only reason why he is alive right now. Kou curses as he thought about that. Yet, that also means that he might just be able to pull this through.

If he wishes to survive, the best bet is to take out the pyromancer, then his comrade over there, who appeared to be the boss. The aquamancer will be proven to be a giant hindrance, and so as the aeromancer. The aquamancer is more painful to deal with, though.

With that mind set, Kou dashed forward for the aquamancer, aiming to take that woman out first.

Kou would be surprised, as he took his next few steps. He slipped from the thin layer of ice, landing ass first before the aquamancer decided to be a jerk. In his way was a small icicle of ice. An icicle that he slammed, crotch first, into, breaking it off. The Aeromancer basically pushed him towards more icicles before he would slam against a wall.

The pyromancer was on the ground, laughing his ass off.

In the shadows nearby though, a sharply dressed woman with a light duster on, observed the scene. Removing the duster, she pulled out a rather large handgun and pulled the slide to check if a round was chambered. She was watching to see what the boy would do. She kept herself hidden, not using her power, and staying silent. She was right behind the aquamancer now, ready to pounce if needed.

Kou did not let out a loud roar when that happened. He felt completely humiliated by these people. Even though they were toying with him at first, and hew knew it, this was just... unforgivable.

A low growl of anger came out from the bottom of his throat, as he stood up, still wincing slightly at the pain from the aquamancer's play. It was not some matter to laugh at.

Whoosh!

It was all that it took.

The aquamancer's laughing face now turned into a visual expressions of horror, as she felt a sharp, immense pain in her neck. The flash of thought came to her, and she, horrified, looked at the boy whose hand no longer hold a blade within his hand.

The boy coldly looked at the aquamancer. "This is your last laugh." He said, emotionlessly, as the aquamancer slowly starts to fall. He turned around, and faced the other two people. "And it would be yours, too."

No, she is not dying like this. She is not dying unless she brings him down with her! NO!

A feature of desperation appeared on her face, as the water of the fountain erupted into a rain of icicle, and rained upon everyone on site, aimlessly, mercilessly.

Kou did not expect the woman to still have strength to pull things out of her sleeves. Since his back was against the fountain, he did not see the icicles coming, either. By the time he turned his head because of the two other elementalist's shield and defenses were up, it was already too late.

Once again, icicles rained from all direction onto him, pinning him down onto the floor in all various body part, laying him on his own blood bath.

Kou struggled to get up. His face now on the ground, covered by his own mud and blood, he struggled to stand back onto his feet again.

It was then that the pyromancer stepped onto him again, this time on his left hand.

"You killed her." He said, coldly, mercilessly. "You killed my partner."

It was almost like a form of death declaration that the pyromancer declared, as he rubbed Kou's palm into the concrete floor. "Now you're going to suffer the most torturous death, ever."

His eyes glowing red, the pyromancer ignited fire on Kou's pants, and waited for it to eat away the garments that Kou has on. He lifted the boy up by his throat, and raised him inches off the ground, even though Kou is quite tall of a person himself.

"So much fun taunting, eh?" He asked, while Kou struggled to prevent himself from suffocation by kicking his feet around. He landed a punch across the boy's face, fast and fierce. "So much fun running, eh?" Another hit landed on the boy's stomach. "Well now you're getting it." The pyromancer brought his fist from below up Kou's bottom jaw, and released his neck at the same time.

He kicked Kou over and over again, while the boy is on the floor, until Kou doesn't even know how to flinch anymore. He then looked at the electromancer, and with a look of disgust, he said. "He's all yours for now. Let me be the one killing him, though."

As Kou laid there on the ground, the other guy nodded. The pyromancer and aquamancer had joined the gang together, and everyone knew that the water and fire combination was one of the deadliest. Especially since they can read each other just by an unspoken bond.

Yeah, that's what happened when they were lovers.

Kou remained on the ground, as the Aeromancer went over to her fallen friend. She already lost her best friend, the Geomancer, earlier. The electromancer went over to Kou, touching him slightly, before coursing electricity through his body. Then, he took his long knife, and held it up. The pyro touched it, and soon it turned red inear the tip and middle of the blade.

"My...this is hot ain't it? Knowing you, you've dulled the blade by now. But then..." He took the knife, and held it close to Kou's balls, before moving up and cauterizing one of his wounds. Closing it...but also burning the flesh.

"Next will be your balls."

Kou's mind, by now, is in a mixture of chaos. His body told him that he is aching all over, and his mind is telling him to get up. Get up and fight. Get up and kill all of them, then return in triumph. That has always been the case, and that should be how it is.

Several times, he wanted to get up, but the pyromancer always stepped him back down, or simply kicked him again, and eventually he decided that he should wait and endure the pain.

Yet, his endurance did not invite a chance to stand back onto his feet. Instead, it was a burning knife cutting through his flesh, closing one of his wound into a cooked mesh of flesh.

The electric shock running through the boy made his mind clearer. Much clearer from everything than it originally was. The boy yelled a loud desperate roar, as he felt the sharp knife cutting through his skin, and the hot, burning blade closing his originally frosted wound. A mixture of frozen flesh in touch with a hot burning metal is definitely not some kind of pain that he has taken before.

He knew what his comrade said would be true too, as he mentioned the threat. He has seen it done several times, and he has done it a couple of times himself. He knew how it would feel, based on the expression of pain that people give when they receive it. To make it worse, those time when he did it, the blade were never hot.

It didn't even occur to his mind as to where did these elementalist came from, or how possible does his comrade knew electromancy. He never has knowledge about it, and he didn't even bother to think about it right now. It is the pain that he is dealing with right now.

He needs to kill. He knew it.

A metallic ruler appeared in his left hand again, as the man threatened besides him.

His comrade was much faster in thinking and observing, however. Immediately when the boy took his ruler out, an electric shock went through his body, and his ruler was zapped out of his hand.

"Maybe I should destroy your hands first, shouldn't I?" The man said, as he held tight onto the boy's left wrist, his knees on the boy's right arm, and his burning knife hanging in mid air, ready to be dropped and stab through the boy's left palm.

It was then that something alerted the aeromancer.

"Someone else is here." Her eyes looked up, as she searched for the sight of that other person who's now in movement.

Elysse was in movement. As soon as the aeromancer said it, she was seen, a black blur against the soft glow of the fountain and the streetlamps. She had moved behind the pyromancer. He tried to punch, she effortless caught the punch and then twisted his arm, shocking him. He slumped, but the way she held him meant he was a human shield.

"So...a little party eh?" She said. The pyromancer was out, but he was stirring. "You know, I don't like this setup here."

"What do you know, huh? STOP BUTTING IN!" The electromancer said, standing up, before throwing Kou's sharpened ruler at her. She merely used the pyromancer as a shield. The way he threw it didn't matter, it fell short.

"You look like a dumb blond. Maybe you should just leave, before the heartless get ya."

"I suggest not provoking her." The aeromancer said. "She is str-."

She was cut short when Elysse shot her. Dead center on her forehead, the back of her head just a bloody mass.

"You see...people think they can outsmart me. Maybe...maybe...I yet to see someone outsmart bullet." She said, before she grinned and chuckled a bit. Team Fortress 2 was damn funny.

"Nnnh.." The pyromancer awoke, realize the position he was in, and broke free. Seeing the aeromancer dead, he basically berserked. Knocking the gun from Elysse's hand,it was all Elysse can do to block his attacks, until suddenly, Elysse was standing behind the Pyro, flicking a rather large knife, as the pyro, cut in multiple places, found that his Achilles tendon and hamstrings were too, he collapsed, screaming.

"So...boya...what makes you the leader?" She said, walking towards the electromancer. Both had knives, both were electromancers, and both looked to be the same age.

The man was afraid. Even Kou, who was lying on the ground and has no view of his face, could tell. He was trembling, like the coward that he always was. At one point he was brave. However, as he climbed up in rank by stepping onto the head and shoulders of others, including Kou's, he became more and more cowardly, and less and less of a street brawler. Sad thing is, he didn't have the quality in him to be at the place that he is. Climbs high, falls hard.

Kou, while laying on the ground in the pathetic state as he is right now, could tell that the person who came to his "rescue" was someone he knew. Not too deeply, but he knew her. It is quite a surprise how fast and how swiftly she took them out, as far as he hears. He heard a bang shot, a few swift knife moves that was followed by the pyromancer, and that was probably all that she took to take the two elemancers out. He knew he had underestimated her, but not by this much.

He felt a grab onto his collar, and his "comrade" picked him up, with the knife in his hand under his throat, shivering, ready to slit and kill him.

"I-I just happen to know this kid very well. And I am to kill him. T-That's all that to it." He said, not too convincing on his part. "Don't you step even 1 step closer, or he'd be dead. You came for him, right?"

Kou felt the pain that was spread thoroughly around his body. His right shoulder was impaled with an icicle, and is still bleeding quite a bit. His entire chest was burnt into a brownish red. His left chest also had a cooked cut from the burning blade. His left forearm probably suffered from a bone fraction, because he was so desperately using his left arm to protect his stomach so not to be kicked to death just now. His legs are filled with big and small cuts and holes from the icicles that rained down upon him. His ankles were burnt into a burnt siena color from the flame that the pyromancer set off at his pants, and the color travels up to his knees. His jeans were no longer in good shape, but in a ragged form of shorts. The front of his T-shirt and jacket, which he was once wearing, was no longer there anymore, either, because of the pyromancer's play of flame. Scratches here, bruises there, he couldn't even see clear of what's in front of him. He probably look miserable right now, with blood dripping down from all various part of his body.

While at one part he was glad that the blonde has made an appearance and saved him, he was very reluctant to see her here. At first, he was worried that she might need to be cared for. Then, it was a mixture of feeling, awe of how strong she actually is, and glad that she was here to help out. Now, it was simple reluctance for her to even be here. She is stronger, faster, and in every single way much better of a fighter than he really is. The fact that she is rescuing him even after he raped her made him felt ... guilty? No, it just made him felt useless and miserable. To recognize that he is in such a horrible form made him even more depressed, in fact, because he didn't like it when his authority was being taken. With Elysse standing here, easily fighting off those people, while him having so much trouble dealing with them, it just made Kou very very pissed and annoyed. He'd rather have died in these scumbag's hands instead. Well, not true, but he certainly did not like what is going on right now. The fact that he is being held hostage against her? He, who have overpowered her? Nothing can describe how bad of a feeling he is feeling right now.

Still, the boy knew what's going on. He knew what he was supposed to do.

The last 6" metallic ruler is now on his left palm. While his forearm remained broken, he could still forces himself to kill the person behind him, if something went wrong. Yet, he wishes to see what would Elysse do. Or rather, he was hoping to see Elysse doing something that might surprise him.

Elysse looked pained. The boy went through some hell of a beating. Wiping the blade off the pyromancer's shirt, she fished out a cigarette. She hated smoking, but at times like this, it didn't hurt to look badass.

"Yeah, the real reason I'm here is because I was doing shit that ain't any of yer business. What I don't appreciate is that someone I know getting roughed up like that."
She said, before taking the pyromancer's arm and squeezing it in the right place. His hand lit up, and Elysse lighted her smoke. She got up, and blew out a few. The pyromancer was still screaming.

"Oh...you're such a little brat. You know, I came here because I sensed someone who may be of some use." She said, motioning to him. "But no. I found a sniveling little rat. I wished I didn't kill that aeromancer. What was she...fast track to promotion, but you're keeping her down?"

She started to inch forward, but when the electromancer tightened his grip on Kou, she stopped. Seeing this, the electromancer felt elated. He can still get out.

"I'm warning you, any closer...and...and...he'll get it!"

"My...why would you wanna do that? Hell boy, I thought you were greater than that. But no. Mr. Pyro over here was more useful to me."
She said, before she used her power to yank the knife from the now shocked electromancer's hand. Cutting upwards with hers, she deflected it up and behind her and it landed somewhere in the fountain, making a nice *ploonk* sound. Kou's ruler too, except this one she kept.

"H...h...how did you do that?!" The man was scared. he was defenseless, as Elysse started to walk towards him. What sealed the deal? Elysse levitated the ruler, and the once screaming pyromancer fell silent. That was too much for the guy, and he dropped Kou, and hightailed it. Elysse though was just as quick, and if Kou can see, she stepped on some boxes as he entered the alley.

She pulled out two throwing knives and electromagnetically propelled it. Both of the knives cut clean through bone and flesh in his legs. He fell, and she croached on top of the dumpster, like a feral cat stalking its prey. A bluish aura came from her as she finally unmasked his power, her blue eyes shining in the shadows.

"Help me! God I don't wanna die! Monster!!!" The electromancer struggled as Elysse outstretched an arm, and extending her magnetic field, yanked a pipe from the wall. The broken pipe connection filled the area with steam that obscured Kou's view of the alley. A flickering light illuminated the steam, only in time to have Kou see a blackened form jump up, then come down on a bump on the ground as if someone would spear another. A gurgle would be heard as well as a wet *splorch*. The light would go and soon, as the steam cleared, Elysse was carrying the other electromancer over her shoulder, still impaled on the stick.

"Boy. You okay?"

Biggest 'no shit I'm not' moment in the history of mankind. Maybe.

Holy CRAP!!
Heh. She even disarmed him. Now he is completely at her mercy, no?

Witnessing everything, from her taunting, to her killing of both of his pursuers, Kou can now well tell that the woman is in complete control in terms of power. The fact that he could even fought as almost in equal ground with her was not something that he earned. She gave him the chance to stay at equal ground at him, and failed to maintain that underhand control, when he knocked her onto the wall. That was the sole reason why he was able to win against her, sole luck.

Therefore, when Elysse asked him whether he was alright, Kou did not said anything. He merely tried to push himself up. Yet, it was not really an option, since his left arm suffered from a bone fracture, and his right shoulder suffered a great impalement. He relaxed, and tried again. Only to failed again.

After several attempts, Kou just gave up, and simply kept his ears open. To him, it almost felt like Elysse was mocking him, getting revenge for him from raping her. It was a showoff, a battle that showed her superiority over him. That alone made him pissed. Not at her, but at himself. Well, a bit of both, actually.

"What do you want?" Kou asked, his voice with slight annoyance. "You can well kill me off if that's your desire."
