My dolls talk to me. They say I need to destroy you. Right after snack time. Posts: 899 Group: Members Member #43 Joined: Apr 6, 2008	Ryo arrived at the local Icecream shop. He looked at the sign. IceScream: Deliciously Dark "...Wow. Just...wow,"he said shaking his head. He had read about it in a local magazine. It got great reviews so he thought he might check it out. He might even find someone he knew from before the invasion. He walked in and immediately noticed that it was relatively fancy for an ice cream shop. The only weird thing was that it was run entirely by a staff of ghosts. Dead people, dead joke. Makes sense, he thought to himself. A sign said "Please find a table and wait to be served." It was of course a tombstone. But the creepy thing was that it was a real one. The place was lit by a bunch floating candelabras and the walls were a nice rich crimson color. Ryo found a corner table (meaning about 5 people could sit there with elbow room to spare) near a window and waited.

Now after having traveled for the most part without huge breaks she found the offer tempting. A way to get away from everything and just enjoy herself once. Saying to herself screw it all she walked in. The first thing she noticed was the ghosts. Shrugging it off she walked right past the tomb-stone to look for a seat. Seeing a kid with grey hair sitting of in the corner she made detour straight for him. "Hey is this seat taken" Vanessa said noting his scar but quickly changing her train of thought. "eating ice cream alone is never fun"

Posts: 899 Group: Members Member #43 Joined: Apr 6, 2008	Ryo had been watching one of the ghost waiters carry 15 bowls and deliver each at a table without difficulty when his train of thought had a train wreck. "No, you can sit there,"Ryo said. The demon in his mind began to speak but some stealthy feeling silenced it. Those two just wouldn't stop to let Ryo think by himself. "Pretty strange place being run by ghosts,"he said then remembering his manners,"I'm Ryo by the way." Edited by Haganashi Yansaki, Oct 21 2009, 11:29 PM.

She was going to say thank you but was taken aback by his view on the ghosts. "eh?" she looked at Ryo strangely before speaking up. "If it was anywhere else I guess it would be strange but..." Tilting her head Vanessa asked a bit skeptically. "What did you expect of a place called The World of Darkness anyway?" She was going to look around for a moment but with a realization she turned back to him with an afterthought. "My names Vanessa by the way, and thanks for letting me join you."

He continued to look around the place. Other people were there as well as other creatures. At one table appeared to be a family of vampires eating some ice cream that was blood red which Ryo could guess it was blood. At another table was a pack of werewolves. At other tables were humans or things Ryo really could figure out what they were. "This world is different from my hometown or even Hyakuji for that matter."

I've mastered lurking again >.>, it's pretty sad Posts: 175 Group: Members Member #69 Joined: May 3, 2008	Taking notice that Ryo was still observing his surroundings particularly the many different beings around the shop. Of course this made her feel like the odd one, as living around this kinda stuff and worse made this place feel a little more like home. Guessing that this guy Ryo was feeling a little out of place, she decided to attempt to ease his worries. "Oh come on, what's so different? So it looks like humans aren't the dominant species around here. So what we're generally at the bottom of the food chain. We still manage to survive against all statistics." She was beginning to lose a little confidence there. Deciding there's only one thing worse than being a heavily outnumbered witch. I'm used to the different races, but its just that I'm surprised that every place is capable of accommodating all of their wants and or needs. Its a marvel of the society,"Ryo said. A ghost waiter drifted over to the table he had several katanas sticking out from his back and multiple arrows could be seen stabbing him in different places. "Greetings. My name is Frank and I'll be your waiter. What can I get you two? Don't worry about keeping me waiting, I'm already dead so I've literally got all the time in the world,"he said as floating menus appeared in front of them. There were all kinds of things and most of them had some of the strangest names. Ryo began reading it trying to figure out what some of them were.

"Though the real marvel is how their able to sit in the same room together eating ice cream and not tearing each other limb from limb." Putting the menu down Vanessa decided to go with a safe choice. "Umm, can I just have a Strawberry Sunday with some banana slices?"

A soul trained with the harshest training regimen known to this dimension and removed during the heat of battle. The waiter ghost nodded then faded out. "They have an interesting menu."

"So what brings you here anyway?"

It got great reviews so I decided to check it out. These places are great places for me and my friends to hang out,"Ryo said. "I was separated from them when the heartless invaded as I was taken over to this side, the side of darkness. I felt I may find more of them if I check places where we might normally gather."

Feeling an overwhelming feeling of excitement all of a sudden she just wanted to launch from her seat and give this guy a hug. Guessing that might scare him a bit she just started bouncing in her seat "Ah well that's a great goal to set for yourself." Vanessa squealed "As for me I came to this shop on a whim. It's way too chaotic out there, and I thought a change of pace for once would be nice."

I'd rather enjoy a quieter location than what is out there,"Ryo said. A voice yawned in his head. "What did I miss? Ooh, a child!"came the demon spirit's thoughts. A sense of internal violence went through Ryo's mind and then a calmer feeling appeared. "The only thing keeping me from destroying him is that fact that you'd die if I did so and that he is useful in a fight,"Model S thought. "Seriously, you two need to get along. Terion, please try to keep yourself focused. You are no longer able to devour souls unless I eat one which will be rare so going after them in my mind isn't very pleasant. Model S, stop beating him up and learn to cooperate with him. It may become useful for us if you do,"Ryo scolded the entities through his thoughts. "Sometimes I feel I can't get entirely away from chaos."

'Sometimes silence prompts more chaos then actually being in the thick of it.' She sighed at the thought of it. "I like silence sometimes, but I think It'd be too boring to be in silence alone. I mean even when I wanted to just revel in the silence of life I wanted someone there with me." scrunching up her face she began to think about a number of times throughout her life she was alone. "Well I guess we can't have the cake and eat it too huh?"

I've found very few people who actually understand how far seclusion should be before it goes too far and returns to the problem. I've faced silence alone for a while and always looked for some one to share silence with, but most people can't stand not having some form of background noise to ease their mind,"Ryo said. The ghost waiter returned carrying two bowls. One had the sunday and it floated over to Vanessa. The other carried a strange sphere that seemed to give off an aura looking like a will-o-wisp or a spherical flame. It floated over to Ryo. "Thank you very much,"Ryo said to the waiter.
