Vielle didn't really think much of the heartless when they invaded her world. It was the one time that Wizard skill Sense actually did anything besides be annoying since it was the only way to find out what they were. Shadow 4 element obviously, but Dular had Aspersio plagiarized at the time (It does a small amount of damage if you're wearing Evil Druid carded armor) since they had just come back from the Cursed Abbey so she was fine without a holy element weapon of her own. They weren't exactly Thors-level enemies in any case. Unfortunately his Preserve had worn off at a bad time (the Large Bodies had Bowling Bash, apparently), and Dullios had been in shield build. Things started going downhill pretty fast once they lost holy element. And then of course Dular just chasewalked away and Vielle didn't see what happened to Dull cause at that point she started burning speed potions to get to a place where fly wings and butterfly wings actually worked. She ran into some kind of MVP heartless and used a fly wing and somehow reappeared here. Odd. It looks vaguely similar to some of the fields around Prontera... she mused, resting a bit. I can't see Prontera from here though. Rune-Midgarts must have destabilized to the point that fly wings no longer became limited to the area you were in... She kept that in mind. She didn't dare use a butterfly wing in the case that her save point no longer existed...a fly wing could land her almost anywhere, but it was still a good escape if the alternative was death. She looked through what other items she had, finding only a few cursed waters. That's right, I don't ever take potions with me except in the War of Emperium. The knight frowned. I should probably start...they're not that expensive. Standing up, she took stock of her situation. Okay. At the very least I'm in an area of Rune-Midgarts that I've never seen before and that the heartless haven't found yet. At most, I'm on some kind of whole other world, which means no Kafra Storage and no Bank...In either case, I'm an outsider, and outsider means enemy... She drew her sword, Atrocity. The +10% critical rate wasn't of much consequence, but the armor breaking was the main reason she used the sword in the first place. It's likely that I will have to defend myself. |

"...Uhmm...Excuse me? You've kinda turned to the color of cautious. Are you alright?" A young man's voice said from a little bit behind Vielle. There stood a young blindfolded man facing directly her way, dressed mostly in green and blue. He seemed to be from this world. "Are you another person from the rifts?" Ein asked curiously, a small smile on his face since he met someone new again. Indeed, this woman in front of him did seem...Foreign. Her guard was up and judging from the color of her aura, she probably didn't know where she was. "Erhm..." Ein fell silent since he didn't quite know what to say next. He really hoped that she didn't attack him or something, Einherjar was elsewhere and pulling it through a rift would probably take longer than it took her to reach him with that sword of her's there. |

Vielle turned around, greeted to the sight of the "It is likely that the rifts you speak of coincide with a dimensional phenomenon that I have recently been subject to." Vielle responded, "Any and all information you could give on this area and or world would be greatly appreciated." The distance between us is 2.7 meters. In her mind, Vielle was running hundreds of simulated battles with the person in front of her, imagining any weapon he could have or item he could use. Even if he didn't seem hostile, an unlikely event was still a possibility. I can be within optimal attack distance in approximately 0.12 seconds. Aura Blade cast time exceeds acceptable parameters. Sword swing time is 0.20 seconds. Frenzy is unnecessary. Probable weapons of opposition include dagger, one-handed sword, mace, rod, staff, knuckle, whip, book, katar, and small gun... Ein, slightly puzzled at the woman's way of speaking could only nod his head, though he didn't really know what she was talking about. "Uhm...I see. Well, if you want to know about the area, this is the Dynor Countryside. It's a farm area and is populated mostly by humans, though you might find a wood elf somewhere around here." Ein motioned for Vielle to look around them a bit. They were in open plains, however in the distance one could faintly make out small buildings. "If you're from the rifts, then you must be quite a far way from home. This is Florencia, and...Well...I don't know where many rifts are." Ein said. Ein "looked" at Vielle from behind his blindfolds, and while he couldn't make out her image completely, her aura was still fairly clear to him. She didn't trust him. At all. At this point Ein wasn't quite sure what to do. He didn't meet with people from other worlds very often, and didn't know if his ways of socializing with people from his area would work the same on this lady. He was unarmed (At the moment), and therefore didn't quite know what made her so suspicious of him either. Shrugging to himself, he opened up a flap to his shoulder bag calmly and stuck his hand into one of the pockets. He could feel him moving the threads of...Something. He wanted to name it, but it wasn't really magic. It was...Manipulation of...Stuff. Whatever stuff the universe was made of. Moving aside this "stuff", and reaching past some seams, Ein found what he was looking for, a couple of oranges from the fruit vendor. Satisfied with what he felt, he withdrew his hand from his bag's pocket, pulling out the two oranges he felt himself reaching for. "Uhm...Would you like one?" Ein offered, holding out one of the oranges to Vielle. |

Vielle noticeably tensed up when the man reached into the bag. The moment he opened the flap, Vielle's mindset instantly switched from "analyzation" to "destruction". If he had pulled out anything even the least bit metallic, she likely would have assumed it was a weapon and charged him then and there. A bit of hesitation served her well when the only thing he pulled out were oranges. She relaxed - although to the naked eye she had never made any movement in the first place. It was only because of her aura that her disposition was visible. Vielle stared long and hard at the orange for almost 30 seconds. She was attempting to calculate in her head the percent chance that it was poisoned or had a bomb in it or was otherwise dangerous, even though she could survive both and still be able to fight with relative certainty. After a long time of contemplation and calculation, she held up the armored hand, wordlessly prepared to catch the thrown orange. She took a small bit of solace in the fact that this world still had the same kinds of fruit. |

Ein nearly looked stung when he saw the color of her aura suddenly change from suspicion, to aggression when he reached into his bag. He felt rather nervous while she looked him over, as if she was wondering whether to destroy the "young" half elf or not, but tried not to let it show while continuing to hold out the orange. Finally, it seemed like she would accept the fruit, and Ein wordlessly tossed her one. Shifting his focus to his own, he used his thumb nail to dig into the skin before removing it and splitting it into several pieces, holding the skin and oranges pieces with one hand, and eating with another. He winced at the slightly sour taste of his orange. "Perhaps it's the wrong season for these." Ein mumbled to himself. "Ehmn. Anyways, I don't think it necessary to be quite so suspicious of me. I'm unarmed and blindfolded. The only think I can see is your aura color at the moment, and it turned into aggressive black quite quickly. You meant to kill me if I did anything wrong, right?" Ein asked as he continued to eat. |

Vielle caught the orange with ease. She simply stared at the person in front of her for a long time, going over everything he said and did. Nothing came without a careful analysis. His posture, stance, tone, inflection, eye movements, and even the way he peeled his orange was all accounted for in her calculations. After a long time, she merely said, "Don't take it personally." The knight, wearing gauntlets, was having some slight trouble peeling her orange. She couldn't use her nails which were blocked by the metal, simply crushing it would defeat the purpose, and the only cutting tool she had on her person was her ridiculously large great sword, Atrocity. Vielle held the orange in her right hand while attempting to make an incision in the orange skin with her great sword, which was being held in only her left hand. This of course did not work, and after her attempts to eat it, she simply put the bruised and battered orange away in her pack. "I'll eat it later." |

"...Right. Sorry. I didn't notice you had gauntlets on. That would make it hard to peel the orange. Hold on a second." Ein said before once again reaching into his bag and fishing around the rift he reopened once again. Feeling the smooth skin of an apple, he grabbed it and pulled it out. In his hand was a pale yellow apple. "This should be better." Ein tossed the apple towards Vielle before finishing off his orange. Once finished, he placed the orange peel back into his bag into the second pocket rift where it would lead to a disposal bin back at home. "Well, I don't think you want to sit around in a field for the rest of your life. Time doesn't matter to me much anymore but I'm sure you age normally. Is there anything you'd like to ask me about?" Ein said, finally deciding the break the silence. |

Vielle ate the apple slowly and in silence. She hadn't been aware that she was hungry before that moment. She went over the events that had transpired previously in her mind before coming to a conclusion about the question she wanted to ask. "My world was besieged by shadow creatures." She recounted, "They take various sizes and shapes, but are invariably aggressive and run on instinct. The weakest of them are about a foot tall, with glowing yellow eyes and antennae. They were not native to my world. Do they sound familiar to you?" |

"Shadow creatures...I believe the last time I spoke with a person from a rift they mentioned them. They're called the 'Heartless' I believe." Ein thought about his last conversation. It had left a bitter note to their otherwise interesting talk. He thought about whether he had seen anything like that though and concluded that for now, he hadn't, and hopefully he wouldn't ever have to. "I've never seen one personally, nor am I sure they've ever been spotted on this world. The closest thing you can find for now would be a Shadow Elemental, but those are conjured beings and aren't always hostile. Some can be quite docile actually." Ein said, recalling the mages he had met in his life, some using shadow elementals among other ones. "However, the growing number of rifts could mean trouble if these Heartless come into the play." Ein looked a bit troubled by this thought. |

"No heartless here then...that's fine." She initially didn't believe that they were capable of destroying worlds, since the grand majority of them were fairly weak. She didn't know the nature of how they destroyed worlds, but it was obvious to her that it didn't have anything to do with the number of people actually in the world. Their strength came from their numbers, Vielle surmised, and she came to the conclusion that they simply swarmed residents to distract them while they did whatever they did that made the world end. "This is a universal threat then...well, it doesn't concern me in any case." she said nonchalantly, "I've only to find the other Eyes and continue actuating Dular's will. If he is not here then I will leave." |

Despite the fact that Ein's face was slightly covered by his blindfold, one could tell he had a quizzical look on his face. "You are a strange one for being able to say a universal threat isn't your problem." He commented on Vielle's rather ironic statement. He wondered how someone could be so nonchalant about something that according to what he heard, destroyed worlds, after all, worlds must all have their own share of fighters, and if they were overwhelmed, what would stop their own worlds from being overwhelmed? "Eyes? Dular's will? Do tell what you mean, I like stuff like that. Tricks of the world that people like to call magic. No such thing though." Ein said confidently, despite the fact that he was a healer. |

"No magic in your world...?" Vielle was confused. To her, magic was simply a universal truth, something that was always present. Imagining a world without magic was like imagining a world without swords or armor. It's possible I suppose... Vielle thought, Would certainly make my job easier in a fight if I don't have to worry about professors...High Wizards aren't exactly a cakewalk, but Professors...ugh. "My world is already gone. I don't see why I should concern myself with saving someone else's, unless Dular wishes me to do so." Throughout the entire conversation, Vielle had never let go of or even moved her sword. "I am part of a guild named the Eyes of Darkness. Have you heard of any other members of this group in this world or another?" |

"Nope. No magic. What people, not just people of this world, what everyone thinks is magic is just tricks. All it is is manipulating the stuff everything is made out of. I can't really name it for lack of better word, but it's not magic. People just need to trick themselves into thinking they're doing 'Magic' when they manipulate stuff." Ein declared rather boldly. He had just basically denied every magician in existence with that statement after all. "Never really heard of these 'Eyes of Darkness' or anything called Dular, but I'd like to find out about it. I like to learn things; don't have much else to do nowadays. I age around a third of the rate humans do." Ein pointed at his ears to indicate that he was indeed different. He was a half elf, not a full human. |

"...We aren't recruiting." Vielle wasn't surprised that the person wasn't human. Her former guild leader, Raem, had been a full elf after all. In truth, Dular might not have minded another underling. But to Vielle, the person in front of her reminded her of the wide-eyed novices of her own world. He was just too curious. The Eyes of Darkness were an evil organization. Hell, mass murder was a hobby as far as Dular was concerned. "Sometimes you're better off not knowing."
