Posts: 1,871 Group: Global Moderators Member #3 Joined: Apr 3, 2008	[Time: After 'Morning Capriccio~'] As a break from the countless detections of Heartless activity around the world, the unique signature for an Undead lifeform showed up on the BOARD sensors, and as such two of the Ace's, Kazuna and Miyuki were dispatched to the world where the signature was coming from: Florencia. For BOARD, the Rider's bikes were modified to handle travel between them. Regardless, the duo would track the signal and end up at the entrance to this massive cave network at the edge of a forest. It was...quite difficult to navigate for the most part but they were able to arrive and the signal hadn't moved any. Kazuna would had hopped off the Blue Spader for now, and pulled off her bike helmet, she hadn't henshined yet as it was still a little early. "Uwah....it's kind of creepy looking..." Kazuna mused, shivering a bit.

Taking off her own helmet, she took a breath of the fresh, crisp air as she carefully stowed it. Florencia was a pretty beautiful world, but also fairly underdeveloped technology-wise. In a way, Miyuki was glad it was in a fairly secluded place. Having to go around in disguise and hiding their bikes would have been too troublesome. As it were, it was much easier to now just go right in and deal with it directly. As far as they knew, the cave was uninhabited except for the local wildlife and probably the undead itself. Miyuki took a moment to adjust and straighten her tie, and then started walking.

Kazuna took a deep breath as she followed Miyuki inside, keeping close as not to get separated. Despite having gone on a number of missions, she still wasn't fully confident in herself and her abilities, and would still occasionally...get scared sometimes. It didn't help the cave itself was just dark and spooky as they moved in...it was really hard to tell if Kazuna was a Rider or not because of situations like this. Still, for now there wasn't much activity, whether they were getting closer or not was uncertain. It was just...too quiet, they knew something was there but where it exactly was the main problem they were facing.

It took abit for Miyuki's eyes to adjust to the darkness of the cave from the bright sunlight of the outside. She held a tracker on her hand, carefully following the signal towards the undead, and marking the sides of the cave wall with... what appeared to be a piece of chalk.

She...really was unsuited for this kind of work and yet she didn't quit. Regardless, the signal would get stronger as they got deeper, but nothing definite just yet. Something would break the silence though as a small group of bats suddenly swooped by the duo, startling Kazuna a bit as she made a small "Kyaa!" and suddenly held onto Miyuki's arm. For a moment something would feel off about the animals though...

Reflexively, the woman covered her face with her forearms as the bats rushed past them, moving to make sure none could get a firm enough grip to land on them while shielding her partner from the oncoming wave, trying to brush off the animals and get them past as quickly as possible. "Tch..." Something was off. Bats didn't normally wake up at this hour, much less fly about in such numbers. Still, she didn't want to resort to anything drastic just quite yet...

Whatever that was, it passed for the time being. As such Kazuna would let go of Miyuki and bow her head lightly. "S-sorry..." she muttered quietly, once again trying to calm herself down. She was basically still adjusting to a more dangerous environment for this line of work. Still, if the bats were acting up, something was up in this area, and they were getting quite close to where it was coming from.

Going somewhat slower and quieter than before, Miyuki continued to follow the trail, still marking the path to the entrance as they went along while the scanner led the way.

Posts: 1,871 Group: Global Moderators Member #3 Joined: Apr 3, 2008	At that moment an even larger swarm of bats would come upon the duo of BOARD Field operatives, only this time they appeared to be...actually aggressive for once as Kazuna tried to wave her arms to push them away, they'd only get angrier for some reason, the behavior pattern just didn't fit actual bats... Which is about when the tracker suddenly went wild, as the reason behind the bat's strange behavior would make itself known: the Category Eight of Diamonds: Bat Undead. As such Kazuna would pull out the Blay Buckle with her free arm while she continued to push the bats away. When she had enough room she pulled out the Change Beetle card and slipped it inside the Buckle, before holding it out in front of her waist. In an instant, a belt of cards would form around her waist and lock the buckle into place. "HENSHIN!" she yelled out as she flipped the switch on the belt... [TURN UP] As the belt buckle flipped around, the blue screen with the shot out from it, pushing away nearly all the bats that were attacking the duo, followed by Kazuna running through it...transforming her into Kamen Rider Blade. [AP: 5000]

Not the Rouzer, but rather, her older Contender. Although she was the designated user of Rider System 01, she also wasn't fond of actually using it. Fusing your body with an undead wasn't exactly something she was easily comfortable with. Regardless, she was still an experienced and dangerous combatant even as a human. Quickly brushing the bats off her, she pressed her right ear against her shoulder while the left hand quickly covered the other ear. Taking a snapshot at the bat. The purpose wasn't so much to hurt it, as much as the combination of the bright flash and loud report would shatter the delicate hearing of the bats around them.

Posts: 1,871 Group: Global Moderators Member #3 Joined: Apr 3, 2008	The bats scattered about as the shot fired, the loud noise and the bright flash confusing their delicate senses, moving about hitting the cave walls and/or each other. Even the Bat Undead was thrown off a bit, but not to the extent of it's controlled minions, for now, it just seemed to lower altitude enough to be in valid striking range... Which Kazuna would make use of after moving her hands away from her ears and drawing the Blay Rouzer and fanning out the card holders, before pulling out a single one, the Four of Spades: Tackle Boar, before swiping it through the card reader on the sword. [TACKLE] [AP: 4200] An image of the card appeared briefly behind her before it imbued the small girl with it's power, before running right at the Bat Undead for a hard tackle...though even with the boost from the card...Kazuna just wasn't big enough to do much with the effect. Sure, the Bat was knocked back some...but Kazuna too was knocked off her feet due to the impact. "...ow..."

There was no time to reload, and she tossed the contender to her free left hand as the right hand grabbed the Garren Rouzer. Before the bats had any time to recover, she leveled the muzzle towards the Undead, and fired. "Kazuna! Lightning Slash!" she called out, while firing repeatedly at the bat.

Posts: 1,871 Group: Global Moderators Member #3 Joined: Apr 3, 2008	As she got back up on her feet, Kazuna just gave Miyuki a firm nod as she fanned out the cards on the Blay Rouzer again, this time pulling out two cards from their respective holders: the two of Spades, Slash Lizard and the six of Spades, Thunder Deer. All the while, the Bat Undead merely blocked that shot, using it's winged arms as a shield, before waving it's other arm, sending forth a rather large, sharp air wave at the duo of Riders...which Kazuna ducked under at the last second, her arm getting cut a bit as she roused the two cards. [SLASH] [THUNDER] The images of the cards once again appeared behind her, only instead of imbuing their power onto her, it was imbued onto the Blay Rouzer instead, which began cackling with electricity. [LIGHTNING SLASH] [AP: 2600] And so the small girl charged at the Bat Undead again, sword gripped tightly as she jumped up and slashed at the thing...which once again used it's wings as a shield. The Undead was roaring in pain as the lightning coursed through it's body, while Kazuna just continued to push the blade, before being knocked aside...!

Posts: 1,871 Group: Global Moderators Member #3 Joined: Apr 3, 2008	Once more Kazuna would pick herself up, before pulling out more cards from the Blay Rouzer, Thunder Deer was drawn but at the same time, the Five of Spades was included, the Kick Locust. The Undead was pinned down by Miyuki's fire so Kazuna had enough time to slide the cards in...using up the last bit of her AP. [KICK] [THUNDER] Kazuna stabbed the Blay Rouzer into the ground as the card images imbued their power onto her, the sealed Undead's abilities taking effect as Kazuna's right leg cackled with thunder. [LIGHTNING BLAST] [AP: 400] With a bit of a running start, Kazuna jumped up and came down for a flying side kick right at the Bat Undead's face, the Spade emblem on her boot glowing with the energies from the cards as her foot was firmly planted on the Bat's face, knocking it to the ground, and causing it to slide a bit with the force. As Kazuna leapt back...the bat undead would begin cursing in some unknown language, the one the Undead apparently spoke, before finally, the belt on it's waist cracked. The belt buckle bearing the Undead emblem split in half, revealing the Diamond symbol. "Sempai! The Proper Blank!"
